How long does the process take for NFA / Class 3 items?

It depends on a few factors, we eFile our paperwork directly with the ATF. Current wait times for an individual transfer is anywhere from 4 Hours to 10 Days, although most are approved within 3 days. If your using a Trust it can be anywhere from 5 - 41 days. Most approvals are taking around 10 days with a Trust. These times vary due to the amount of transfers taking place nationally.

What does the process look like for NFA / Class 3 items?

Once we receive your NFA item, here’s how the process works:

We’ll schedule a convenient time for you to come into the store. When you arrive, we’ll guide you step-by-step through the entire ATF eForms process:

We’ll help you create (or log into) your ATF eForms account

We’ll take your digital fingerprints using our system

We’ll take your passport-style photo

We’ll upload everything directly to the ATF

You’ll then answer a few simple yes/no questions, and we’ll submit your Form 4 (or Form 1) for approval.

Once your tax stamp is approved, we’ll notify you and you can come pick up your item!

What's up with the Tax Stamp?

As of January 1, 2026, the $200 tax is now $0 for most common NFA items (suppressors, SBRs, SBSs, AOWs). Machine guns and destructive devices still carry the tax. You still have to do the whole ATF paperwork, fingerprints, photos, background check, and wait for approval — but at least the extra "f**k you" fee is gone for most people now.

Do you purchase firearms?

We’re always interested in buying firearms. We also buy All NFA items when they’re legally transferable.

Here’s how it works:

Bring your firearm and valid government-issued photo ID into the store. One of our knowledgeable staff will inspect the gun and make a fair cash offer on the spot (if it meets our buying criteria). If you accept the offer, we’ll handle all the required paperwork & you get paid on the spot!

We cannot buy stolen firearms, homemade “ghost guns,” or anything that’s illegal to possess in Arizona.

Can you source items?

Yes we can! We do very well with locating hard to find items.

Can you help me ship a firearm?

Yes! We are one of the few locations in the valley that accepts outbound shipments. As long as it's going to a licensed dealer in another state it's a flat fee of $35 plus the cost of shipping.
